At the same time North Carolina was able to citadel my Nelson in similar ranges. Today I managed to take quite a punishment from Montana while taking fire bow on in Moskva in medium to close range. She's a lot of fun, and pretty different from other battleships out there.I had a rather interesting experience with bow tanking today, first on Moskva then on Nelson. Her high-velocity cannons are easy to handle, with good traverse and reload. She can get into position relatively quickly, and her angling game is actually a no-brainer because all of her main battery is forward-facing (unless enemies start trying to flank, gotta prioritize targets to prevent that). Once you're committed, you're quite committed since she's incredibly vulnerable when fired upon by other battleships in the side (more so than normal). Her entire game is a matter of picking the right position and targets. ![]() ![]() Technically decent secondaries for if things turn sour and a destroyer or cruiser manages to get close to you (you're probably dead to torpedoes if that happens though). Flimsy armor (for a battleship she suffers from a number of other BBs being able to overmatch her bow armor). That said: 8 main cannons to the fore (none to the rear). Also, Dunkerque is one of the Azur Lane collab commanders, so she gets extra points. Why not Richelieu or Jean Bart? I don't have them.
